Crumbs #02 – UX, Design & Advertising

A post by George

First off, I was just browsing Vimeo and saw the this awesome, time-lapse styled montage of the Swisscom rebrand – it shows the process which is something that always intrigues me. Also here’s another collection of crumbs I wanted to share.

Book Cover Archive

Book Cover Archive

I wrote a post a few weeks ago called Inspired by Book Covers, but only recently found this blog-esk archive of Book Covers – loads to choose from and a great source of inspiration.

Colour in retro adverts

Colour (& Design) in Vintage Advertising

A look at the colour schemes from vintage adverts (50’s & 60’s) but inspired / entertained me on loads of levels. Also if like me your just as interested in the adverts as the colour scheme, check out this post on Well Medicated

Inspire UX

Inspire UX

inspireUX is a mash-up of quotes from people who ‘understand the importance of a positive user experience’. Perhaps a bit of a pretentious introduction but if your passionate about UX then this will get you going!

What the world eats

What the world eats

Not design related as such but this post really made me think, not just about what I eat but also about the ways in which it’s produced, disposed of and what I can do to better my own habits.
