Another beautiful Fifty People, One Question short. It’s a simple question but I was struggling with it – I think that’s one of the beauties of this series, something simple throws so many.

I have been following the One Question series on Vimeo for a while now. I really love the concept and they are always shot and edited nicely. You might remember that a while ago I posted about the New York one, well they just released a London short and I couldn’t not post it.

When i first started watching this video the English in me was saying “This chap is a bit OTT wouldn’t you say?” but Gary Vaynerchuk speaks an important message and by the end of the video I found myself shouting with him.

He has certainly got me thinking about video blogging/podcasting and i’m going to trial run an episode or two (don’t hold me to this) soon. Gary is a real inspiration and living proof that if your passionate about something, you want it enough and you are prepared to work for it, you can make it happen! “Clap this up, it’s the real shit!”.

A simple question can lead you anywhere. What would you answer?

I just finished watching the Hillman Curtis short about Stefan Sagmeister, it’s brilliant if your a fan of his work, or his methods its a must see!

The short is from the launch of his book ‘Things I have learnt in my life so far’ and an insight into what other designers think about it, they share a few of their moments and discuss Sagmeister himself. It’s a good watch and their are some big names sharing their thoughts.

The book itself is a series of typographic aphorisms & a really inspiring read. You can buy it online from Amazon for only £10.00

I just found this vid on Vimeo, it’s a time-lapse of the first day of summer on an Australian beach. They’ve used a really strange depth of field and it’s created a kind of playmobile effect.

Also, really like the backing track, “I feel Fine” by Sonido Lasser Drakar.

I was reading the CR Blog recently and saw these, at a glance I chuckled and thought ‘Only in America’ but there is something strangely wonderful and alluring about these bikes.

This truely inspired me, the situation, the subject matter and the speaker.
