Thought I would share this selection of fantastic adverts I have collated over the past few months while browsing the web. Some real gems here, I’m particularly drawn to the Crisis guerrilla street ad – a great example of thinking on your feet.

Excellent promotional video from Adidas to showcase 60 years of Soles and Stripes. Featuring more celebs than you can shake a stick at (David Beckham, Katy Perry, Missy Elliott, DMC (as in run), Mark Gonzales the list goes on…)

A fantastic ‘bullet-time’ ad from toshiba. It took 200 cam corders, over 300 hours of processing and cost over £3M to make. Beautiful advert!

I found this selection of adverts pretty inspiring, it’s (in my opinion) the best stuff i’ve seen in the past few months.

Just saw this great (concept?) from an underwear company for a Ketchup bottle promotion. Innovative use of media but i’m not convinced it would hit the right market for expensive lingerie buyers lol.

You can’t fool all the people, all the time… But you can try… It’s called advertising.

A brilliantly executed idea for a series of posters that details the product placement in (mostly cult) films. The author’s website is down at the moment that said their presskit is worth a peep, clearly an agency with a fantastic portfolio. Anyway check it out at antrepo4.com

I thought this was a really beautiful idea, not just selling the product, but a means to make it sustainable. It’s a kind of strange, eco stock-option, two thumbs-up.

I’ve collected a few of these over time, I think ads that are built around their location really work. Not only do they give the extra wow-factor that is often lost with traditional ads but the consumer (often) feels the ads are less intrusive or somewhat more targeted.

Ben Brears just updated his website with this very nice (adbusters inspired?) campaign. Playing the big-brands at their own game.
